About RTD District O

RTD District O basically covers most of Boulder County, except for the eastern portion including most of Longmont, Erie, and Lafayette. District O includes the cities of Boulder and Louisville; the towns of Lyons, Nederland, Superior, Eldorado Springs, Niwot, and others; plus much of unincorporated Boulder County. There is a basic map of District O below, or you can click here for a map in greater detail, or click here for an interactive map.

RTD: A Very Large District

The Regional Transportation District (RTD)  covers all or part of eight Denver metro area counties – all of Boulder, Broomfield, Jefferson and Denver Counties; parts of Adams, Arapahoe, and Douglas counties; and a small portion of Weld County. More than half of Colorado’s entire population – about 2.8 million people – live in the district, which spans roughly 2,400 square miles. As you can see, RTD has a lot of ground to cover!
